Teodoro Garcia, Jr.
Teodoro Garcia, Jr. was born in Mexico City, Mexico, and immigrated to the United States with his family at the age of four to Kansas City, Kansas. Teodoro graduated from Rockhurst College in 1995 and the University of Kansas School of Law in 1998. Teodoro is admitted to practice law in both Kansas and Missouri.

In 2005, Teodoro established the first Latino-owned and bilingual boutique law firm with a practice devoted exclusively to immigration law in Kansas and Missouri. Teodoro’s practice focuses primarily on family immigration law, consular visa processing, deportation defense, and naturalization and citizenship cases.
Outside of his work, Teodoro is active in the Kansas City metropolitan Latino community volunteering his time to better the lives of immigrants in a legal capacity and promoting higher education for Latinos. Teodoro has also presented on various immigration topics educating the legal bar, families, religious organizations, social service agencies, and educational institutions throughout Kansas and Missouri. Lastly, Teodoro has fought against unscrupulous and deceitful individuals who unlawfully practice law by preying on immigrant families, promising non-existing immigration benefits for exorbitant fees, usually resulting in deportation from the United States.
